As a Manager, Alliances with the India Payments team, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on the strategy for Amazons offerings in India
You will identify and prioritize opportunities across multiple partners in banks, financial institutions & online companies. You will identify individuals in these organizations to partner with, who will help us grow the adoption of Amazon payment products and design partnerships with these institutions. You will also have charge of translating these partnerships into action plans within the Amazon organization and ownership to drive them internally.
The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in developing alliances or partnerships between organizations, ability to work in an environment with minimal supervision, problem solving skills and capability to influence multiple external and internal stakeholders. The
candidate should be comfortable operating in a rapidly changing environment which will require the candidate to be comfortable dealing with ambiguous, new and challenging situations.
The candidate will bring an ability to create and communicate a bold vision for the organization.
Role and Responsibilities:
Understand the business needs & partnership opportunities across Amazon Payments as also in other verticals
Leverage Amazon Relationship with banks, processors, FIs, large merchants etc. to provide BUSINESS SUPPORT & help finalize strategic partners for multiple opportunities across Amazon India.
Engage with payment ecosystem provider on a regular basis to understand new solutions / partnership opportunities across Amazon strategic priorities.
Structure agreements & negotiate commercials (if required) with the above identified partners.
Drive the action plans out of these alliances internally in the organization.
This position is based out of Bangalore, India and will require travel to locations within India.
