The role is generally responsible for sampling and testing during the day-to-day execution of the compliance testing reviews, preparing and executing test scripts. The Analyst will provide general support to the Managers and Directors that lead the ICT reviews, to ensure effective and efficient operations including: Assisting in preparation of the Announcement Memorandum, including all impacted parties, for review and issuance by the VP of ICT Participate in meetings to identify in-scope risks, and controls to define the review scope Assisting in planning of the review Performing day-to-day execution of the test scripts Updating Compliance Management on the progress of testing and escalating any significant issues Escalating any potential compliance gaps to the testing team and Ensuring all test scripts, work papers and reports are completed according to ICT standards Other Responsibilities: Be responsible for staying abreast of laws, rules and regulations governing US Banking and American Express products.

College/University degree with 3 to 5 years experience in Audit, Compliance or Control Group Compliance certification and/or a law degree and/or similar qualification would be preferred Familiarity with the laws, rules and regulations governing US Banking and American Express products Strong computer knowledge; excellent MS Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint skills The successful candidates must also possess the following soft skills: Strong analytical skills and ability to identify potential compliance issues, potential root causes, and feasible operational solutions Strong collaborative skills and ability to work in a matrix environment and on cross-functional teams Excellent verbal and written communications skills; must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization Ability to translate technical information into easily understandable terms Be self-motivated, dependable, adaptable and detail oriented with a proven ability to work independently or within a team environment as required Strong presentation and project management skills.
